Can swmm assess the health degree of the drainage system

Dear Bob, can swmm assess the health degree of the drainage system? I mean, can swmm determine where the drainage pipe misconnection or leakage and calculate the amount of the infiltration and inflow in the system? What is the principle？Thank you a lot.

    Hi Mingkai,

    You need a lot of monitoring data to really understand your network.  If you want to find out misconnections or the amount of I&I flow then you need to have flow data and separate storm flow from Ground water infiltration and Wet Weather Inflow.
