Conduit Outlet Rating Curve Types

Hello everyone, not sure if this is already a topic, but I have made an outlet in a conduit in my model and am entering a rating curve to define it. I am not sure whether to use the depth or the head with my data. Is the depth just reference depth simply taken from the bottom  and the head a combination of depth and some reference datum 'z' like elevation?

Thanks ahead of time!

  • Depth is the HGL - The Invert of the Node

Head is the HGL or the Depth of the Water in the Node + The Node Invert

they are related and should give you the same flows.
