        • You can use the inp file to create a csv and import it to GIS...then create shapefiles or whatever format you need.

          • ok, so how to create csv file from inp? If I ask stupid question, please apologize. I dont know how to do it?

  • Hello everyone. I've got a question about ArcGIS. I've got an orthophotomap of Lublin and file *.tin which has got slopes of area in Lublin. Is there any option in ArcGIS, that every polygon which I made could take or import a slope attribute from tin file ? Is it possible to take this slope for example to centre point of polygon?

  • I' ve got another question about ArcGIS. If  I have got a few kind of subchatments layers (for example roofs, parks, lawn) how could I export them from ArcGIS in one *.shp file ? Please help me

  • Hi Michal B,

This seems a problem related with the regional settings of your PC.

It is not related with the coordinates you are using. It is because the numbers in the inp text file are not readable by SWMM.

Try to compare the inp file created by inpPINS with a simple one created by you directly in SWMM to fix the error in your regional settings.

Please let me know if you need further help.

    • Sorry Rui, but I don't know what shoud I compare. When I make a simple inp file in SWMM, there is also txt settings cofiguration file. When I make inp by inp.PINS I only see inp file without any text files. I also don't know what means regional settings ?

      • The inp file is a text file, please open it and try to understand what is happening.

You only need the inp file to run SWMM...

        • Rui, I found something that could make an errors. I compare the same inp files, which one of them is working and the second has got errors that I was talking about below. The working inp file has got everywhere dot "." and the not working in file has got comma "," . How to change it ?

          • I changed comma for a dot and it works.

  • Hello everyone,

I made some subcatchments in ArcGIS by polygons and I wanted to export this data in shp file to SWMM. When I was making it by inp.PINS, I saw a lot of errors in SWMM:

3293157888?profile=RESIZE_1024x1024I don't know what it is and how to fix it. I think it could be a problem with coordinates in ArcGIS, but I don't know any solution to fix it. Please help me.
