Modeling subsurface storage

I’m trying to represent a subsurface storage unit that consists of 5, 300-foot long 66” pipes with a 66” pipe distributing flow and another 66” pipe collecting flow at the other end.  This layout doesn’t have a standard outlet structurethat is easily represented by a storage unit with a rating curve.  Has anyone run into issues with representingsubsurface storage units and have any suggesting for modeling units that don’trespond like a basin with a standard outlet structure?

Thanks,

Katie

  • Hi, you can try using a storage node with infiltration or the SWMM 5 OUTLETS to to simulate odd features.
