  • Hopefully, this is more clear - I am also including a small model.  You can simulate the flow from the street through the inlet to the minor network using an orifice or an outlet.  It works best if you have two outlet equations - one for the flow going INTO the inlet and one for the flow coming out of the inlet in case the minor system gets surcharged.

  • Thank you for your answer but I don't clearly understand.

After I define subcatchment, rain gage and junction which support the water inflow from subcatchment.

This junction may have different type of inlet  (see attached pictures) which affect to water flowrate into the junction.

so how can i define them?

    Thank you again

Hi, yes can define the inlets using a variety of methods - the most common being as an orifice or with an outlet equation.
