Hello everyone,
I realize that this particular thing has probably been discussed more than enough, I browsed through forum aswell as tried to google it.. found some infromation about it but none of the suggested things worked for me.
Basically I'm working on my diploma thesis , finally managed to input entire sewer system into SWMM 5, also put in time serie but when I run the simulation it gives me this error..
ERROR 173 : Time Series DAZD has its data out of sequence. at MAR-01-2014 00:10:00.
data in my time series go like this (at least the first few which are obviously a trouble):
00:00 160.7
00:8.3 160.7
00:9.1 155.3
00:10.1 150.3
00:10.8 145.7
00:11.6 141.3
then it simply decreases , my entire time series is 45.7 minutes long.
Start Analysis is set on 03/01/2014 00:00
Start Reporting is set on 03/01/2014 00:00 (basicaly the same time)
End Analysis is set on 03/01/2014 01:00.
If it helps,
Reporting is set on 0 days , 00:01:00 hr/min/sec
Routing is 30 seconds.
Since this is the last thing that keeps me from finishing my diploma thesis (already ran calculation through another software , just wanted to do it with this one aswell and make comparison) I'd really appreciate if someone was able to help.
Thank you.

Works now , I've missinterpreted Rain Gage Time interval :)
I've just started using this program (that was actually the part of diploma thesis to LEARN it.. ) and that's where it went wrong.
Anyway thank you for help :)
Hmm I've changed some things around and now my complete set up looks like this :
And this is the error I get now :
Kinda losing hope around here..
Well I've played with times around a bit now, put in values w/o decimals and now it says error 159 : recording interval greater than time series interval for Rain Gage D1
(I've checked, they are the same actually)
As you state, using decimal hours will work, however you were using 24 as the rainfall interval which is in hours. Looking at your original data you have a mixture of intervals, you might have to use @round in excel to make these values at half minute intervals. I just ran it with a 30 second time rainfall interval.
thank you I`ll try that
If you send me the model to robert.dickinson@gmail.com it should be easy to find. Looking the table it seems to have a mixture of decimal hours and real minutes which might be an issue.
Thank you alot.. I've just sent the mail.
As for the decimals , I'll try it w/o decimal and post results wether it was the problem or not.
