Im trying to set up a scenario where an "instantaneous" loading or "spill" occurs in a residential neighborhood and is introduced in to the groundwater. How do I simulate this in SWMM 5.0?

How do add a pollutant inflow to node?
You need to have two time series at the node, one for the inflow and on for the pollutant concentration
You can have a constant concentration of a pollutant in the groundwater and you could have a spill of runoff from a rainfall spike to simulate the flux to the groundwater. I am attaching a preliminary example that has to be made more spill like - I put in a large rainfall at the end of the hyetorgraph. You need to tweak that so that the infiltration spikes causing an influx of COD to the groundwater, I hope this helps.
