If you have a lot of hours flooded at a node you can do the following:
1. Lower the lateral flow or runoff flow so it does not flood as long,
2. Increase the downstream conveyance from the flooded node so that the node is flooded for a shorter period of time,
3. If you do not use the ponded area option then then storged flood water will be there a shorter period of time.
