Hi, I'd like to create a specialty XSECTION. The shape of my pipe does not seem to match any of the XSECTIONS provided, even remotely. How can I create a specialty XSECTION?
You need to be a member of SWMM 5 or SWMM or EPASWMM and SWMM5 in ICM_SWMM to add comments!

Okay, here is an example input file, the custom shape is in the curve section of the input file
MyCustomShape Shape 0 0.10
MyCustomShape 0.1 .25
MyCustomShape 0.25 0.5
MyCustomShape 1 1
and is also referenced in the XSECTIONS Section

Very helpful. Excellent response time, and useful answers.
Oh, wow. Sorry. Did not see your rapid response. I did as you said, then exported the .inp file and parsed that. So its ok now. Thanks again though.
Sorry, I mean when using the command line and a .inp file only.
Hello,
You can use a custom shape in SWMM 5 for a closed Link or if it is an open channel then you can use a Transect Section as in HEC-RAS
You use the custom shape,
Make a Table of Depth/Full Depth and Width/Full Depth
