Here is an example of the format for a SWMM 5 User Defined Input file, it is at one hour intervals
Here is an example at 5 minute intervals
088824 1970 1 1 20 5 0.010
088824 1970 1 1 21 10 0.048
088824 1970 1 1 20 0 0.010
088824 1970 1 1 21 0 0.048
088824 1970 1 1 22 0 0.029
088824 1970 1 2 7 0 0.010
088824 1970 1 2 16 0 0.009
088824 1970 1 2 17 0 0.194
088824 1970 1 2 18 0 0.047
088824 1970 1 2 19 0 0.029
088824 1970 1 3 1 0 0.047
088824 1970 1 3 2 0 0.142
You can model the ditch retention using a trapezoid or open channel, another idea would be a LID for the LID with the Ditch a Swale
Steps are to make the User Defined File for SWMM 5, Make a Rain Gage Object, use the file you just created and then use 0:05 as the interval.
05 1.25
10 1.3
15 1.35

For 5min interval.
The ditch will be defined in the conduit, using trapezoid shape and set the slope at 0.001? Will it work?
